В субботу, 28 марта, прошла ежегодная акция Всемирного фонда дикой природы (WWF) под названием «Час Земли». В назначенное время более чем в 150 странах по всему миру участники акции отключали электричество, демонстрируя заботу о Земле и призывая бережно относиться к ее ресурсам. Россия поучаствовала в «Часе Земли» в шестой раз.
